Giveaway #7 – The Biggest Story

*This giveaway has ended!
Winning entry was #2 – Alicia Fladager!*

In The Biggest Story, Kevin DeYoung—a best-selling author and father of six—leads kids and parents alike on an exciting journey through the Bible, connecting the dots from the garden of Eden to Christ’s death on the cross to the new heaven and new earth.

With powerful illustrations by award-winning artist Don Clark, this imaginative retelling of the Bible’s core message—how the Snake Crusher brings us back to the garden—will draw children into the biblical story, teaching them that God’s promises are even bigger and better than we think.

To enter this giveaway, simply leave a comment and tell me what *your* favorite book was as a child. As always, make sure to use a valid email address, as that is how the winner will be contacted.

I found this book to be very simply written, in terms that a child could definitely understand.

The illustrations were very colorful, but in my personal opinion, I think they may be a bit overwhelming for some children … especially those with special needs that need to be able to focus on just one thing. With so much going on in the illustrations, I think it might be a bit hard for some children to concentrate on hearing what is being read to them.

I don’t remember much for books when I was little but it seems I had Little Golden Books. I remember reading to my younger brother and it was always Go Dog Go! Love to read to my grandkids so am glad I saved alot of their dad’s books to read to them.

I used to love Little Golden Books, and I still have a ton of them here for the kids when they come over.
