14 Years and Counting

Today I celebrate 14 wonderful years of marriage to my hubby. ♥

I have been working on what I wanted to say here ever since I got up this morning, and for some reasons the words I try to put down come out sounding like a really cheesy card that you buy in the grocery store. Blech. We don’t do cheese. At least not for important things.

We do love grilled cheese sandwiches, and our son did just call for Derek’s cheese & chili dip recipe the other night. Of course, we also love cheese on our pizza, but those are all wonderful foodie-type cheeses. Not quite what I had in mind to share today.

Come to think of it, that is one of the things I love about my husband the most. I can have writers block and start throwing out random silly thoughts, and he will totally understand what I am trying to say.

I’m writing a letter. I can’t write a letter. Why can’t I write a letter? I’m wearing a green dress; I wish I was wearing  my blue dress. My blue dress is at the cleaners. The Germans wore grey. You wore blue. Casablanca. Casablanca is such a good movie. Casablanca. The White House. Bush. Why don’t I drive a hybrid car? I should really drive a hybrid car. I should really take my bicycle to work. Bicycle. Unicycle. Unitard. Hockey puck. Rattlesnake. Monkey, monkey, underpants!

He gets me, and I love him for it.

More than words.

More than cheese.

More than I ever thought I could.

Thank you Derek, for being my very best friend in the whole wide world. ♥

Happy Anniversary, sweetheart. I love you!
